Demo

It is described below how you

  • start the import mode
  • can create your own attribute view
  • import your tier prices efficiently into your online shop

Go to the English version.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open supplier price list
Open the corresponding price list in Excel.

2. Build a list by SKU, quantity tier 1, quantity tier 2, etc.
If your list doesn't look quite like this yet, we recommend that you structure your list just like this: "SKU, quantity tier 1, price tier 1, quantity tier 2, price tier 2, etc."

Learn here more about how you can automatically create external supplier lists in Excel so that you only have to set up this list structure once. Magic word: Power Query!

3. Click on the "cobby" tab
Now you can click on the "cobby" tab directly from the list to start cobby. Don't worry, your list won't be lost.

💡 TIP: You can open cobby from any Excel view. That's the cool part about it, as you can work in Excel and thus only in one interface.

4. Start import mode
Click now on the small arrow to the right of "Load Products" and then on "Start import mode." The import mode of cobby should then open.

5. Find the series price list (worksheet)
Below in the tabs or attribute sets, you will also find your tier pricing list. Please make sure that you are in the correct attribute set where you want to update/add the product prices.

6. Adjust the Excel view of the tier pricing list accordingly
Now we will first assemble our Excel view to look like our tiered pricing list. So, besides the SKU, we only need the attribute "tier price".

7. Search for tier prices attribute using the search function
Using the search function (CTRL+F), we will first look for the tiered pricing attribute. In our case, "Tier Price".

8. Cut out column "Tier Price"
Cut the "Tier Price" column and click on "Insert Cut Cells" to add the cut row.
Note: Very important, do not just click "Paste".

9. Open cobby Task Pane: Attribute "Tier Price"
If you click on the field of the "Tier Price" attribute, the cobby Task Pane will open on the right side.

10. Split attribute into columns
Click the second icon in the upper right of the task pane to split the attribute into columns.

11. Select group
Select a group now or choose "All Groups".

12. Select number of tier prices
Select the number of tier prices from your external list under "Amount of Tiers." In our case, we choose "6".

13. Hide all columns after the "Tier Price" column
All columns after the "Tier Price" columns are marked and hidden using Hide. The columns should now be arranged the same way as in your list of tier prices.

14. Copy and paste all articles + tier info
Go to the spreadsheet with your price list and copy (CTRL + C) all items along with the tier information (Note: Exclude the header) and then click into the empty SKU field. Paste the previously copied content there (CTRL + V).

15. Select store view
All your data has been entered. Now just select the store view. Click the small arrow to the right of the empty field. A list of store views will open, from which you can select one.

16. Manual or automatic store view selection
Either you manually select a store view for each product OR you do it for all at once in under 1 second.
-> Double click on the small green box.

17. Save
Done! Just click on "Save Product" and your products will be in the shop with (new) tier prices.
