How can I completely delete products in cobby?

In certain cases, it may be advisable to delete products from the shop. This includes:

• incorrectly set up products
• products that would not generate any SEO clicks and would only be "product corpses"
• to optimize shop performance

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open your product data and display the products you want to delete. You can also do this using the filter, for example. 

To show you how mass processing works, we will delete multiple products at once in this example. In principle, it works the same way, whether it's one product or 20.

If you want to delete several specific products, such as different types of products, it makes sense to create your own product view with all the products you want to delete. External lists can often help with this as well.

2. First, we have adjusted the product view for better clarity, so that only the relevant attributes are displayed.

3. Rename the first product to DELETE ME.

4. To adopt the label for all relevant products, either double-click the green square in the bottom right corner of the first row or drag the value down from the row.

5. Click on "Save Products." The green status that appears afterward indicates that the transfer was successful and has now been implemented in the Magento store.

6. In the Magento backend, go to the product view (Navigation bar Catalog -> Products), navigate to the search bar, and enter DELETE ME so that only the products that need to be deleted are displayed.

7. Only the products with the name DELETE ME will be displayed. You can then select all products using the checkbox to the left of ID.

8. Click the arrow next to Actions below the search bar.

9. Select Delete from the drop-down menu to delete the products and confirm it by clicking Ok.
