How can I update my product data as quickly as possible in accordance with the new regulation?

On December 13, 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, abbreviated as GPSR, came into effect. The aim is to ensure the safety of consumer goods in the EU. The GPSR applies equally to manufacturers, retailers, importers, and distribution platforms, and sets clear standards for product labeling and safety information.

For online retailers like you, this means that you are required to provide information such as manufacturer data, product labels, and warning notices on your product pages. Step-by-Step Guide

1. Adjust the view appropriately
First, we compile our view with the attributes necessary for us, so that the other attributes do not interfere with the editing.

2. Filter by manufacturer
Next, we simply filter using the Excel filter for the manufacturer "FusionCobby". 

  • Click on the filter to the right of the column name.
  • Now you select the manufacturer and click "OK".

3. Enter product information in the column
Next, we will enter the corresponding data in the top row of the product information column. In the cobby Task Pane, you can also see the complete text again.

4. Transfer information to all products
To automatically transfer this information to all products, double-click on the small square or drag it down to the desired products.

5. Save changes
Click now on "Save Products" to transfer your changes to the shop.
The changes will be transferred to your shop within seconds, which you can see in the yellow job log.

If the job log is green again, then the job has run successfully and your changes are live in your shop.
