What can I do with the cobby Task Pane?

The task pane offers a lot of opportunities to maintain attributes faster and easier - oftentimes only with a few clicks.
In this quick run-through we will show you the practical editing options it provides.

Step-by-step guide

In Magento, there are many different attribute types that you can also manage in cobby. For this, the "Pane" is built in on the far right in cobby. Here you can edit EVERYTHING: store view, images, categories, etc.

We are now going through all the options in a quick run-through. Remember: We are in Excel. Everything you can see in your product line and the cobby Task Pane, you can also see at the top in the Excel function bar and can edit it there if necessary.

1. Open Task Pane 
Depending on which column/attribute you are in a product, the "cobby Task Pane" will open on the right side with the respective editing options for the corresponding attribute.

2. Storeview
Here you can quickly move/add one or more products from one store view to the next/another with just one click. Learn more about storeviews here.

3. Categories
Categories can be changed, added, and removed here by simply selecting them. Learn more about categories here.

4. Tier prices
Gamechanger also with external price lists. Edit your tier prices in seconds. Better have a look at this Help Docs article concerning tier prices.

5. Date options
For many attributes with dates, including: Created on..., updated on..., Special Price since..., active since..., etc.

6. Cross sell & assigned products
Once a connection to other products exists, you can control it here in cobby. Work with Config and Simples. Add new products, change the order, or disconnect them.

7. Images
Here you can easily add your images, rearrange them, assign labels, and also delete them. With formulas, you have many options to manage your images faster and, above all, smarter. Learn more about image maintenance here.

8. Description & HTML editor
In the Task Pane, you can also add, edit, and delete your HTML code. To do this, click on the "Html Editor" field in the bottom right of the Task Pane. Learn more about the HTML editor here. ​

9. Drop-down in cobby
Regardless of manufacturer, country of manufacture, delivery time, etc. - the drop-down field from Magento is displayed this way and you can rename the options in cobby.

10. Error assistant
